The first stage of ducklings

We participated in the first stage of All Our Ducklings with our little good swimmers.

From the younger age group (born in 2018 and 2017), our club was represented by Hanna Light ja Mattias Aas. Hanna swam the 50m crawl (1:01.07) and 50m backstroke (1:11.15), setting new personal records in both events. Among the boys, Mattias Aas also swam his new personal records: 50m crawl with a time of 56.33 and 50m backstroke with a time of 1:04.79.

In the second age group, there were three events to choose from, two of which could be chosen: 50m freestyle, 50m backstroke, and 50m breaststroke.

In the 50m breaststroke, all of our participating girls set strong times: Sofia Nicoletta Rendina swam with a time of 43.01, Sofia Han 44.53 Gloria Cherry 44.04 and Olivia Rammal 53.63. The youngest girls of the year were represented by Iris Rammo, who swam a new strong record time of 48.42.

The boys who swam the boys' 50m freestyle were: Björn-Henry Adamson 43.15 Nicholas Angelopoulos 44.60 Kaspar Haljak 53.19 yes Mairold Madi 55.24.

The girls swam the highest in the 50m backstroke Anni Kaarde 50m backstroke, with a time of 40.31, which brought her fifth place. The girls swam backstroke Sofia Han (19th place), who set a new strong personal best with a time of 48.52, Sofia Nicoletta Rendina (22nd place) with a new record of 51.06 and a year younger than her in the girls' category, swam Iris Rammo (28th place) also with a personal best time of 56.64.

Our club was represented in the boys' 50m backstroke Björn-Henry Adamson ja Mairold Madi, Björn-Henry swam in 52.71, a new personal best, and Mairold in 1:02.16.

Girls set new records in the 50m breaststroke Anni Kaarde with a time of 50.14, Gloria Cherry 50.49 yes Olivia Rammal 55.73.

Boys' 50m breaststroke Nicholas Angelopolous with a time of 1:01.94 and Kaspar Haljak 1:03.80.

Overall, the children had beautiful swims with few mistakes, and most of the times were new personal records. We feel very proud!
