Swimming for babies and toddlers with a parent (3 months – 4 years)

After birth, water is the most natural environment for babies. Swimming gives them the mobility and endurance they need for life and also hardens them. A newborn gets used to water much faster than a baby who is several months old. The infant's reflex to hold his breath persists until the 3rd-6th month of life, after which it must be re-taught.

The purpose of the baby class is to teach parents the most basic techniques for teaching their child to move in the water. Together with the parent, under the guidance of a trainer, the infant learns to move in the water on their back and stomach, dive, float (stay on the water), jump into the water, etc. From the 9th month of life, we teach them to move independently in the water, using a swimming ring, cuffs, "noodles", etc.

Swimming with parents for young children (2-4 years old)

Being in the water environment has a calming and relaxing effect on the child, both mentally and physically. Water trains, develops and tempers the child's body. Since being in the water environment requires constant work of the muscles, posture, endurance, coordination of movements and balance improve, and the child learns to control his body better.

The goal of the lesson is to increase children's independence in the water by using various aids. The child's fear is reduced and adaptation to the water environment is improved. The activities take place together with the game, the child learns to float on the water surface, immerse his face in the water, breathe in the water, climb out of the pool and jump into the water. We introduce various swimming aids and the principles of safe behavior when staying near a body of water.
